Consolidation Barcode Printer (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes what information our Chrome extension collects, how we use it, with whom we share it, and your choices regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data You Provide
- None. Our extension does not prompt you to enter or submit any personal information.
1.2 Automatically Collected Data
- Page-scraped value. We read an 8-digit consolidation number (the value of
<input name="SendungNrDfue">
) from the page’s HTML in order to render a barcode.
- No identifiers. We do not collect URLs, IP addresses, device identifiers, or any browsing history.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Generate barcode. Reading the consolidation number is used only to render and display a barcode and to open a small “print” window.
- No analytics. We do not send any data off your machine; all processing is done locally in your browser.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
- We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose any data you provide or that our extension reads.
- We do not call any third-party APIs or analytics services.
4. Data Retention
Any number your extension reads is held only in memory to render the barcode and is not stored on disk, in browser storage, or transmitted anywhere.
5. Security
- Local processing. Because all operations occur locally, there is no network transmission of data.
- Minimal permissions. We only request permission to read the active tab’s DOM to find the consolidation number.
6. Your Choices
- You may disable or remove the extension at any time via
chrome://extensions
.
- You can inspect the extension’s source code to verify that it collects no personal data.
7. Children’s Privacy
This extension is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the extension after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.
